General Abilities
Invocation
You can draw upon another plane to power a magical effect. There is lways a skill check (usually Spellcasting).
- Success: it works as designed.
- Mixed: it either works and you gain +1 Taint, or it fails and you gain +0.
- Failure: it either fails and you gain +1 Taint, or it misfires destructively and you gain +0.
Some Invocations may have circumstances where you might gain or lose Taint irrespective of the above.
A "free" power use has no risk of Taint. A "risk" use has the standard risk described above.

- Improved Pixie: pixie gains sneak attack, sleep; grants allies bonus movement.

- Tier 2: local teleport is now at will. Can teleport within 1 mile, recharge short rest (bonus once per Taint).
- Tier 3: 1-mile teleport is now recharge 33%. Can teleport anywhere in the world once per long rest (bonus once per Taint).

Alternate Build System
Basics:
- Knowledge (the Planes) handles Detect Planar Affinity, Summon Outsider, Command Outsider, Banish Outsider. Maybe a better name might be Planar Magic, or simply Invocation. Costs described within the skill.
- Summoning basic minions:
- Could cost 1 talent each. That's very expensive in this system. Make them better?
- Could treat them as resources. Maybe each costs 1 or more Soul Shards (conversion to Resource Points?).
- Remember: you can summon these minions with just the Invocation skill above. This ability means you can skip all the dangerous and tedious domination mechanics every time.
Flavors/Types:
- Just make each power a talent, like all other talents.
